Professionally designed gift certificates in full color, a color (8.5x11")poster to display the donation at the silent auction, and a letter detailing who to acknowledge receipt of this donation and where to send the charitable donation receipt.
This service is intended to assist development directors and volunteers, making it as easy as possible to display and receive more donations for silent auctions or raffles.
It's that easy, all nonoprofits need to do is to ensure that their fundraiser is in the master list that businesses choose from - including who benefits from the event. There is no charge for this service for nonprofit organizations, nor does SantaFeDonations make any percentage of your donated value. Not sure if your organization is there? Find your organization.
Once a business chooses to donate to your event (from the current master list) you'll get an email letting you know. Everything is supplied for you: full color gift certificates, a color 8.5x11" poster to display the offer, and instructions showing where to send your donation receipts and thank yous.
More is More. Here's how it works:
Donors determine what they would like to donate. To stimulate business, many choose to make one donation as a bundle of 12 once-a-month gift certificates that last for a year. The value of the total donation (12 monthly gift certificates for a year) is far greater than a one-time traditional gift certificate allowing the nonprofit organization to net more revenue once it sells at a silent auction and ultimately this also allows businesses to make more donations because they benefit by more return visits, you are helping businesses who donate too. As added value, the gift certificates say that they are transferrable which means, If the person who buys the gift certificates at a silent auction(or raffle) cannot make use of the gift certificate any given month, they ARE TRANSFERRABLE, they can be given it to a friend, relative, associate, teacher/tutor, or anyone, anytime. This is stated on the poster for display and on every gift certificate. It's a win-win, the donation value is greater when the charitable organization receives not one traditional gift certificate, but 12 once-a-month-for-a-year gift certificates as one donation(which we bundle for you), and the business who donated sees local people coming back all year to enjoy them.
Donation Depot: Once you receive an email that your donation is ready, you can pick it up at Don Chalmers Capitol Ford in the Santa Fe Auto Park, 4490 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe. Hours: M-F: 7:30am - 6pm, Saturday: 9am-6pm.

Please note we are not affliliated with Locals Care. We were recently told that a nonprofit asked for an in-kind donation at a retail store and the store told them that they do Locals Care and that is all. The nonprofit organization thought we were one and the same. We are not. Though we are local and we do care, we provide visual gift certificates and posters to display at benefit auctions. This service makes it easy for both businesses and nonprofits to give and receive donations of gift certificates, and does not take any percentage of a donation.
